Happy Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity!

To begin our celebration of the Lord's Day, I seized the opportunity to at last enter St. Stephen's Bascillia and attended the early morning Mass (said in Hungarian). The beauty of it all moved me to tears. Stepping back to the hotel, we enjoyed breakfast, packed our luggage, and gathered for boarding the coach headed to our nautical home for the next 8 days - the S.S. Maria Theresa, named for the Habsburg Empress. We were also united with the final dozen or so of our group who had flown into Budapest today. After a lovely lunch aboard the ship, we gathered for Holy Communion on the upper deck, during which two other guests on the ship serendipitously joined us for worship. This special afternoon continued over tea and a wonderful piano concert before the captain's briefing and dinner. I think it's safe to say we will all be spoiled rotten on the ship! Finally, we ended the day with an unforgettable evening cruise, taking in the beauty of the illuminated city under a full moon.
